Hi Nielshs,

Nice job as usual. I only wish the vocals were a bit more in the foreground. Still, you're my favorite vocalist at SZ.

hi Neils, as with your G70 songs, I enjoyed this latest Tyros2 tune performed & recorded by you as well. This goes to show that it's not so much the keyboard, but the artist that makes the music. Keep 'em coming. - Scott

Nice relaxed country song Nielshs, not heard that song before. I'd have liked to have heard your guitar work a bit louder in the mix, but the performance and singing was good, keep them coming especially now more people on SZ are posting songs again

Hi

Thanks for the nice comments.

Craig your right about the guitar isn't loud enough in the mp3 file. But the volume is ok in the wave file and it sounds much better than the compressed version.

Regards Niels

Hi Nielshs. I know exactly what you mean with the guitars.
The WAV's out of the T2 sound far better than any compressed MP3 or WMA. Trouble is not everyone wants to download 40mb+ to hear someones song (although I would prefer to hear the original uncompressed version anyday of anyones post), which is a shame because when you get comments like this isn't loud enough or the drums can't be heard etc, it is because of the compression used and NOT because the poster doesn't know how to mix his or her song.

I know you and myself both appreciate comments but perhaps when a SZ member is commenting on someones posting in the future they should also take into consideration just how much the song has been compressed before they think what to type.
Still a nice song m8

This song has always been a favorite of mine. Tracy Lawrence had a big hit with it. Good job, except the vocals were too far back in the mix on what I heard.

Niels: Excellent, top-notch performance. I really enjoyed the variety that your key changes brought and your transitions between verses, intro, and endings all fit perfectly for a song that could otherwise be boring because of it's length of strummed guitar versus.

So we can learn from you can you share some details about the performance such as: What T2 styles did you use, any midi files involved, any sound processing changes made from stock settings or any post-production work. Come on buddy. Give it up your secrets.

Thanks again for sharing your music.

Hi

Nice to see all the nice comments, thanks.

Im using the style Country Ballad and the PedalSteel for my right hand. Im always using Cubase SX for my recordings and have used 3 tracks for Texas Tornado.
The major change I have made is the overall reverb settings, where I have added some more reverb time to Hall 3.

1. recorded the song without vocal
2. Recorded the vocal.
3. Recorded the choir.
4. Mixed the recordings in Cubase.
5. Used a master EQ.

Regards
Niels
